From Kokoro #091 - Adrift in the Mists of West Lake

Sam Abel, the great National Geographic photographer, advises the following photographic technique: Find a place with an interesting composition and then wait for something to happen.

Essentially that's what I did here, even though the composition consisted only of these two leaves in the water in front of me. I could see that this guy and his boat were heading my way from some distance out in the lake. I composed and waited. Eventually, he arrived.
