Each of the images in this exhibit for Xiang Sha Wan, China are also available for purchase as unmatted prints.
There are two versions of each of these images:
- Small, image only, one 8x10.5" paper
- Exhibition size, image and poem, on 11x17" paper
Both versions share these features . . .
- Warmtone print
- Printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag heavyweight 308 archival fiber base paper
- Pigment-on-paper prints from an Epson 4880 printer using ABW for no metamerism (color shift in different light sources)
- Open edition
- Signed on the back
The "rice paper" textured background on each image is printed from scans created from woodblock paper cut patterns. Detail view.
The poems are from various Chinese sources ranging from the 8th century to the 1800s. The title of each image comes from the first line of the poem.
The smaller image-only prints are $15 each.
The exhibition sized prints with poem are $50 each
