I had seen these trees a few days before and was fascinated by the way they seem to reach almost as a guesture. I drove down to that location in order to photograph them, and was unexpectedly rewarded with a beautiful moon. I set up my tripod, composed the images, and just at the moment I released the shutter, two birds flew through the frame. The happy accident. Sometimes the best way to pursue photography is just to
