From
Kokoro #002 - Wyoming DustOne of the distinct advantages of working a bit of landscape repeatedly over days, weeks, or even years, is the discovery of new light.
I had walked past this particular spot no less than 30 times. On the final day, I happened to walk past it at the perfect moment when the light was creating this illumination. Without that shaft of light illuminating the form and simultaneously creating shadows in front and behind, there was not much to photograph here.
Every photograph is the intersection of composition and timing.
