Now, I tend to look for places where there is a
density of photographic opportunity.
This temple in Hangzhou, China included a path that followed a rock wall and a small creek. For several hundred yards, there were stone Buddhas carved in the rocks — enough photographic compositions to be a small project. Next to this was the temple itself, another small project. And then there were the people, and the stone inscriptions, and… a density of photographic opportunity I could have explored for a week. Unfortunately, I only had a couple of hours.
